very intersting posts at Na… the comments were even more telling. churches are dropping the ball when it comes to engaging the 18-34 demographic. i’m a firm believer in the scripture where Jesus says if He is lifted up, He will draw men to Himself. churches MUST preach Jesus and Him crucified, no argument there. but what i’m (and many of the commenters) talking about is offering more opportunities for fellowship and service. many in the 18-34 group lament that there isnt much more than one or two opportunities offered per month… compare that with EVERY friday and saturday night at the local watering hole, and you can see the plight of many young adults and even teens as they struggle to find healthy alternatives to destructive pasttimes.
I was continuosly surprised by the questions he would ask that demographic-not what I was expecting but refreshing nonetheless-…
