I think Donald Trump would be a better American Idol judge compared with Harry Connick Jr. – Trump is not afraid to say what he thinks plus can be as outspoken as Simon Cowell.

judging by the crowd reaction at the end of each performance (wednesday and thursday), plus what brittany related about the contestants and part of the audience hanging around and singing praise songs after the show, i’d say there must have been something said by someone that caused the producers to put the correct lyrics back in for the second performance… good for whoever was the catalyst for that change!

a couple of observations… wrong decade, jeffro… “shout to the lord” was released in 1994 :-)
also, i think for just a few minutes on either night, i too could have hung with the best of the idol contestants… even i could have managed that little 2-step they had goin there…

uh, whut up with the $45,000 church conference?????????

We didn't get to watch because of the weather, but this morning Shaun heard about it on AirOne and told me about it. We watched it on YouTube and downloaded the song on iTunes. What's even more awesome is a lady called in on AirOne and said that she was there for the taping and that during the song there was such a spirit of worship and after the show was over the contestants stayed on stage and sang worship songs for a while and about a third of the audience stayed and just worshiped.
