At OBU’s Pastor Conference

I’m in Arkadelphia listening to the religion faculty teach the book of Exodus to a large group of gathered pastors.

what’s it going to take to get a nation to cry out for Jesus? Disasters – worked temporarily; terror attacks – again, temporary results; Famine – in the works, jury is still out.
May God have mercy on us!

If only we could get everyone in America to fit into Journey Church…
Hmmm… I think that’s something for you to bring up at our next Core Group meeting. ;)
You’re absolutely right. It’s shocking to me that the vast majority of Americans claim not only to believe in God, but to be CHRISTIANS. I’m realizing more and more how lightly the word Christian is used in our society. It has no meaning to so many. I know I have been guilty of throwing that word around when my behavior was not showing it.
