Bailout passes
Update (4:52p): I like what Dean said in response to today’s vote:
Look for this to be just the beginning of a long line of requests/demands for not only corporate handouts/bailouts, but the governmental variety as well (California started screaming for a federal loan to keep their government open before the House vote even took place). Look for more of the same now that the floodgates have been opened.

Like I’ve said before… America has brought this on herself. We’ve (not all of us, but many) have been living beyond our means, taking risks that we shouldn’t , and making selfish “I want-it- now” decisions. I guess only time will tell what all this will mean. Everyday I get more and more worried about what messes our future children/generations will have to clean up. It kind of reminds me in elementary school of class punishments… I didn’t think they were fair then and my mind hasn’t changed much on the matter.
Amandas last blog post..Fasting…
Jeff for President!!! At least Batman is a good start for cleaning up corruption and greediness. : )
Seriously, I’m proud of you and others of your generation who are speaking up and contacting our elected officials. I think my generation has been too quiet too long, and I’m very concerned for my grandchildren’s future.
I remembered this comment on your blog when I read this news today::

The nerve… if it passes, I literally may seek residence in another country. :)
