Hi Jeff…I linked to your blog from Susan’s. I had no idea about Carolyn and was very sorry to hear she’s going through chemo again. Please tell her that I’m praying for her!

Your words about her were so very touching. It makes me thankful to call her my friend. Even though I haven’t talked to her in years and years, I can still see her beautiful, smiling face! Give her a hug from me…

Jeff and Carolyn,

I have to say that Jeff is “spot on.” When I reflect on our time in M and I think of Carolyn I always think of her unwavering love of the Lord (not in a wimpy ….. little church girl way) but as a prayer warrior and soldier of the Lord. I learned a lot from you (C) while we lived there.

Freddie and I are praying for ya’ll. Keep pressing on. We love you both,

Wow! That is awesome. I love how you speak so fondly of her.

I have also spoken so highly of cancer patients. They seem so content with what they have and happy. Yet, we feel like we don’t have enough.

Beautiful post… I can find no words to follow it that are worthy!

Carolyn has no idea how her quiet strength shines for all of us and what an amazing example she continuously sets for we younger Christian women. I love seeing how in love you two are. In a world where a happy marriage is almost never witnessed, I feel incredibly blessed to have mentors all around me with their rock solid relationships that have not just withstood many years, but have strengthened in them.

Oh, please do not mention the super hero outfit for V-Day to my husband… I am SURE he would dig something like that up…
