Carolyn and I were married 15 years ago, in May 1992. Wow. I’m more in love with her today than ever. I truly married and still enjoy the companionship of my best friend. Our home is one of playfulness, laughter and endless surprise. We’re deeply imperfect, blessed people.

Anyway, she called to say, “Jeff! I haven’t listened to country music in forever, and I decided to switch over from KLOVE to a country station. Come on Jeff, get it right, Brad Paisley’s Ticks goes like this:
‘Cause I’d like to see you out in the moonlight
I’d like to kiss you way back in the sticks
I’d like to walk you through a field of wildflowers
And I’d like to check you for ticks….

Maybe you can Caro can do some tick hunting at Family Camp, hahahaha!!

There are so many great country artists that this sampling that she heard is not representative. Country music tells a good story (usually) and she just happened to listen to a store about ticks :)
