You definitely struck a chord with me!!! I've been "harping" on the lost art of letter/note writing for several years. I am sad that children today will not have the handwritten letters from parents, grandparents, and great grandparents that I have, such as letters from my grandfather to my grandmother, which are over 100 years old. But, of course, I find myself taking the easy road by firing off emails or just forwarding others' emails.

I need to write to the lady whose sweet, angelic smile on Sundays in the choir always blesses my heart, to my friend at school who always has time to listen to me and pray with me, to my husband who has put up with me for 42 years, to my children and especially my grandchildren, who light up my life. The list goes on and on........
It's not Friday, but I will take time tonight to write some notes.

Love,
Mom

I can't find a pen to write the letter with, I guess I'll just type the notes in a handwriting font and print them on notebook paper with my inkjet!
