What a powerful post. I would have had no idea what it felt like to be desperate for the holy spirit several months ago. I am so blessed to know today. I still rely on myself far too much in daily life, and often seek God for his "help" and not just for time with him. Though this is a hard habit to break for me, I am finding that as I hear more about what a REAL Christian is like and how easy and GOOD it is to be a Christian and have a love relationship with Christ, the more I yearn for that relationship. It's so amazing to me that the closer I try to get to God, the more I hunger for more closeness. I'm not sure if it is true for everyone, but it's got me thinking that once you find a true relationship with Christ, you will ALWAYS seek more and more intimacy with him; like you can never get close enough.
