A year later, a fire at the house (arson!) burned the carport to the ground. All that was left of Old Green was the rear axle! Sniff. We drove it 10 years! As far as Caro's college car, we fixed the gear deal and drove it forever, finally selling it to someone here in town. It was a Nissan something-or-other, I think.
