I always heard the old adage, "You never know who's watching..." and it's so true. Now that we are sincerely seeking to follow Christ, it's all the more important. We don't want to live just a "good" life. We want to live one that is captivatingly Christian. Mom... I think I'll do an "Our Story" entry sometime this week... Great comments, Mandy. Scary to think that people watch and look up to other people as much as they do. A youth pastor told my youth group many a years ago that, "... if you put your faith in people, they'll disappoint you 100% of the time." Meaning put your faith and trust in Christ because he's the only perfect being there is. He can never let us down. On this subject though, a good friend of mine that's having some deep personal struggles in her life at the moment recently said to me, "You just don't understand.. your life is so perfect! YOU are so perfect!" I just gasped..laughed.. and shook my head. I think I uttered, "ME?" It's amazing what others can think of us... why she thinks that of me I have no idea, but it does crank the pressure up when you realize that others ARE looking up to us. For one reason or another. We have to make sure we're living the life Christ would want us to, speaking the way he would want us to, and treating others the way he would want us to.. not just for our own sakes, and for his glory, but to help lead those that are watching us that we might not even think notice us. <em>Mandy's last blog post..</em><a href='http://peaceandcraziness.blogspot.com/2008/01/in-past-week.html' rel="nofollow">In the past week</a> Great post!
