Looking for the Republican Party ransom note

Richard Viguerie, chairman of ConservativeHQ.com told activists recently at a conference that the Republican Party has been hijacked and that true conservatives should feel “angry and betrayed” by the “corrupt and immoral” Republican leaders they have had in Washington.

Viguerie said, “Just simply because the Republican Party has a death wish does not mean that conservatives have to go along with it.”

What’s he talking about it? Tell me what you think.

  • well, since george w. has been in the white house, we’ve run up democrat-like deficits, and the major republican contenders for the ’08 prez elections are socially moderate-to-liberal at best. i agree with viguerie… we need new leadership… mccain, romney (who’s doing a hillary-esque flip-flop on right to life) and giuliani (pro-abortion, pro-homosexual rights) are not the answer. if true conservatives in the republican party will stand together, this just may be huckabee’s time.
