<description>I love so many of the current praise choruses and I truly believe that &quot; It Is Well&quot; was the &quot;Mighty to Save&quot; of its day, but sometimes the old hymns say it best. Especially this season, I&#039;m drawn to the richness of the lyrics of the classics. &quot;O Sacred Head,&quot; &quot; When I Survey the Wondrous Cross,&quot; so many come to mind. Such a marvelous part of our heritage as believers! Such a powerful post! Thanks, Jeff.

<description>My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin, not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!

I cannot sing or read those lines without tears streaming from my eyes and raising a hand (or two - big doings for this Baptist girl).

Amen.
