Next Palm Pre promo
The folks at Palm have released an “official” Palm Pre video. They’re the first company that understands what is needed to give the iPhone serious competition. That’s because they were one of the first in the industry doing smart phones. They seriously shot themselves in the foot when they clung to Palm OS – and watched every other smart phone in the world get an updated OS that passed them by.Â
Watch the video and see if you think you might like a Pre…

I’ll take 1. Can’t let iPhones take over the world, can we?
I’ve had my Pre given that shortly immediately after launch and am glad to locate (via this forum) that I can now set a ring tone on incoming text messages and can research by way of e-mails and such. Now is there any hope for an upcoming launch where I can search my calendar? Would make my job a great deal easier, discovering dates of last appointments. No other complaints, except that yesterday I had been in and out of Sprint support (not unusual). I believe I used to be roaming, and looked at my calendar. Every little thing from the calendar was a single hour earlier than what I had input. The clock was a single hour early as properly. I was frightened to death–then, after we got back into Sprint assistance once again, everything was normalized. Has this happened to anybody else?? Looking forward to answers, but please don’t forget, I’m no techie and speak English as opposed to technospeak.
