More snow in downtown #Blacksburg than up North Main. Barely a dusting in Maple Ridge area so far. Cold, blustery (like that word) winds. [journeyguy]

Operation Christmas Child is one of my favorite family ministries! Now that the kids make money of their own, they fill their own boxes. Maybe someday we make Denver part of our personal ministry!
Blessings!

Sue, that’s a great idea to have your kids raise money to fill their own shoeboxes!
I adore Operation Christmas Child..they also have a distribution center in Atlanta..which I hope to go to soon! My kids learn SO much from this ministry and it makes them a little less “I want this and that and this and that…” Also when they get that whiny gotta have more attitude I remind them of that kid that they packed that little shoebox for and that gives them a better idea of what is important.
