@Amy: I’ve been meaning to return to the series for a while, but I honestly had to get out my journals and go point by point with Caro to remember the timeline of some of these events. Crazy.

It was about time!!! I’ve always known that our two precious grandchildren were miracles from God and I marvel at His grace, love, and goodness! As they grow (much too fast) I pray daily for them to mature into strong Christian young people who will be sensitive to and accepting of God’s leading in their lives. I strongly believe that they will grow up in a world in which the Christian “journey” will be much more difficult than it has been in my generation and their parents’ generation.

Jeff and Carolyn, your dad and I couldn’t be more blessed than to know that you are ensuring that Sam & Adelyn grow spiritually as they grow physically. We also pray daily that God’s peace and joy will be so evident in your lives and in your home that Sam & Adelyn will always desire the same for their lives.

Every time I read another chapter in yours and Carolyn's story, I like you guys all the more. I'm so glad that you've taken the time to record these details. What a gift they will be to Sam and Adelyn! What a treasure for them to be able to trace their family tree's roots on the palm of God's hand!
