Dean, Apart from the spiritual application, it IS disconcerting, isn't it? I read a great entry from Shawn Blanc that encourages us bloggers to not write for approval's sake, but to write deeply, write well, and write significantly. I'm hoping to process it more and compose my own tome about it.

well, right now i'm not in the mood to speak to the spiritual application you've made here, because i just found out that my dang blog is a ONE! just for the heck of it i checked my old blogger blog, and it's a TWO! thats nuthin to brag about, but i thought i upgraded moving to wordpress. any idea what the criteria is for the rankings? once i find that out i'll know whether to blame myself or you. dean's last blog post..who should pay for the new church building?

Many times it’s a lot easier to just think you don’t want to know.. change is hard, after all! Just recently Clayton told me that he’s tired of me telling him how tired I am… that he knows I’m tired but it gets old me saying it. I pouted at first… “how dare he? He’s sleeping all night!!” but then I realized that he’s not one to just jump on something for the sake of causing a rift, so I had to really focus on my attitude and what I was putting out there for him, and others. I was griping about being tired a lot… and I’m sure I’m more fun to live with now that I’ve shut it. (though I’m still tired… tee hee) But it’s so true that those that REALLY love you do, and should, bring things like this to your attention. Even though it can make people angry to hear it, or offend them, it’s usually something they really needed to hear.
