crispin and the cross of lead. a great book. read half way through it now almost done w/ my class as a novel. love it truly. hard to put down. thats just a few facts about crispin but there is truly more that i cant fit in one message.

“That evening, I found that I had devoured half the book over multiple cups of hot green tea. I couldnâ€™t put it down.” Why did you eat the book? Just kidding. This would be a great quote to take out of context and begin a movement for people who “devour” books and “hot green tea.”

I’ll have to check this book out. It looks like something Rose would love.

Oh that sounds like a great book! The next time I have a few hours to spare I should go pick up a good book to read... right now finding 30 minutes a night to do my Oh so FANTASTIC Beth Moore workbook is pretty tough... another challenge for another day! You’ve made me curious. It’s one I haven’t read. It sounds like one your dad would enjoy also, since it’s historical. Don’t always depend on the Newbery Award, though. Most are deserved but some are not – in my opinion. (Yes,”Newbery” is the correct spelling but people were always trying to correct me when I spelled it that way at school.

You may call me a “librarian,” although my degree is called “Media Specialist.” It’s interesting that public schools use the “media specialist” terminology, but most private schools use “librarian.” I know you’re thrilled to learn this!!! : )
