It's pretty easy. All you need to do is highlight the text you want linked (usually the person's name or your reference to then entry or site) and then link for the little icon that looks like a chain link. (I think that's what Blogger uses). Click on it and then paste into the URL from the page or site you want to link to.

If you're linking to a specific entry of another person, all you need to do is create a new browser window with that specific web post in it, and then copy the URL at the top of the page. That's what you'll paste into the link reference. 

It will look something like - http://www.thesiteyouwanttolink.com.</description>
