If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
There’s a very practical and innovative use for SMS and RSS combo services like Twitter. Swing by the Swerve blog and see how one church is using it for ministry purposes.
You can also check in the right sidebar for my latest Twitter update. If you use Twitter, let me know!
If you’re wondering what in the world RSS and SMS are… uh, well, perhaps you shouldn’t worry about your Twitter.

OK, Twitter is having some major updates right now, and it’s impossible to add friends to your list or search for folks. Give them a day or so to iron out their difficulties, and we’ll see if we have a “new, improved” Twitter.

“…Create an interactive element where people can SMS during a worship experience/service and incorporate the feed of all of the responses into the experience in real-time…”
This is a great idea from the Swerve blog but it kind of defeats the whole “turn your cell phone off durning worship” thought. I would also hate to see a message come over the screen reminding the pastor that it is past lunch time.
