Life, adventure and faith from southwest Virginia

Author Nolan McGrady

My entire life has been spent here in Southwest Virginia, and for better or worse, I love this place. It made sense to go to college at Virginia Tech, where I've spent the last four years pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. I learned the most on an automotive design team that made my obsession with fast cars and machinery a reality. During my time in college, I got involved with Northstar and the Cru campus ministry. Though I've been a Christian since grade school, the experience I've had with both of these groups has given me a new desire to love and serve both my Savior and my neighbor above all else.

I'll be moving to Baltimore in June to start a new job in test engineering and hopefully serve in the city. I have no clue what's in store, but I know that it will be good!
